Vins Extremes Valle d'Aosta
25 and 26 November in the splendid setting of the Forte di Bard, a fortified settlement nestled among the imposing mountains of the Aosta Valley.
The event increasingly aims to be an opportunity for discovery, meeting and exchange of experiences, knowledge and stories linked to the difficulty and passion of cultivating vines in heroic territories; for this reason we believe that your reality can be an expression of this extreme viticulture of ours and that it can be of great interest to the public of technicians, curious and enthusiasts who already showed great interest in the first edition.
As in 2015, there are many initiatives planned: in addition to tastings of the extreme wines of the participating companies, there will be tastings of the winning wines of the 25th CERVIM international mountain wine competition, called Mondial des Vins Extrêmes since last year. Guided tastings and themed taste workshops, round tables and conferences are also planned.
The event is organized by the Vival Winegrowers Association of the Aosta Valley, the Forte di Bard Association, the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the Autonomous Region of the Aosta Valley and by CERVIM and makes use of the collaboration of numerous partners such as: Onav, Fisar, AIS, Association of the City of Wine, the Regional Agricultural Institute, Slow Food, the Wine Tourism Movement, the Chambre Valdotaine, the Tourism Department, the ADAVA, and many others.
Given the particularity of the Location, places are limited and registrations will be closed once available places are reached
