Vinitaly: typicality, excellence, territory
“What we can draw from this Vinitaly is a happy conclusion not only for the commercial liveliness recorded by our companies but also and above all for the vision of unity that this Sicily offers to its various interlocutors,
also in view of the entry into force of the DOC Sicilia".
Thus the general director of IRVOS Dario Cartabellotta comments on the Sicilian Vinitaly 2012 edition. “Once upon a time, business was concentrated on a few large historical brands, today even small companies are able to have a market and build stable commercial relationships with foreign countries, the result of a generational change that has allowed companies to increase their know-how. Also, in this case, the model we espouse of representing the Sicily of wine, with many Sicilies that coexist synergistically with each other – explains Dario Cartabellotta – is appropriate and successful: appropriate because it records a diversified reality that takes into account the different needs of the actors in the field. Winning because it manages to communicate better with markets which also differ in terms of demand, channel and consumption style. A more plural wine Sicily responds better to the pluralities expressed by the market, especially the international one. The appeal of Sicily has been strengthened with the peculiarities of the individual production contexts of our island: from the mountain wines of Etna to those produced by heroic viticulture of our smaller islands, without forgetting the Ragusa area with the Cerasuolo di Vittoria , the wines of the Sicane lands or of the Trapani and Marsala areas".

Public Consultation Update PTPCT IRVO 2025-2027
Public consultation for the purpose of updating the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2025/2027 In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2025/2027, all those who are interested are invited - in particular citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests - to send observations and/or proposals to the Person in Charge of the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated when drafting the document.
