guida_territori

The 453 Sicilian wineries, the wine routes, the 6 PDO oils, the 34 Slow Food presidia. And again, the nature reserves, the underwater itineraries, the castles and lighthouses, the archaeological sites, the historical and monumental assets protected by UNESCO. All this is what is contained in the new "Guide to the wine territories of Sicily", now in its fourth edition. Guide that was presented during the 47th edition of Vinitaly.

“It is a first step of coordination between different actors – explains Dario Di Bernardi of IRVOS who followed the project – for an organization of the territory according to a current marketing approach”.

The map was designed and created by the communication agency Feedback of Palermo and is created in collaboration with the regional Department of Agricultural and Food Resources: "The institutional and private collaboration network that sees MISE, IRVOS, Department of agri-food policies, Tourism Department, Cultural Heritage Department, Universities, Municipalities, Gal, Territorial Districts, Federation of the Wine and Flavor Routes of Sicily, Confindustria Alberghi, Slow Food, Guardia di Finanza and Wine Tourism Movement, – continues Di Bernardi – marks a strong will to collaborate in a growth project for the entire regional territory. In fact, it is no longer the time for improvisations and even less for mystifications. We must learn to recognize resources, roles and above all call things by their name." In fact, today the map aims to be a complete guide to the Sicilian territory aimed at tourists who visit the island and in particular at wine tourists and lovers of good food. Inside, in addition to the geographical location and contacts of the 453 Sicilian wine companies, you will find tourist information to learn about the best of Sicily, from agri-food to culture and history, and the 17 Sicilian wine territories from Pantelleria to Etna.
