The Regional Institute of Vine and Wine, in its capacity as exclusive concessionaire of Pavilion 2, intends to promote the participation of companies according to the following guiding principles:
Enhance territorial identity and increase image and perception
quality of the wines of Sicily and the territories of origin, enhancing the characteristics
of their identity and personality;
Increase commercial opportunities through greater opportunities to meet national and international operators;
Increase the visibility and communication of corporate brands;
Facilitate business aggregation opportunities;
Reduce participation costs through community measures.
These objectives are combined with the promotion and communication strategies of the rural development policies of the European Union and with the Rural Development Program - Sicily Region 2007-2013 whose objectives are:
enhance the quality agri-food products obtained in Sicily;
promote the image towards consumers and economic operators of the products obtained under quality systems, in particular in terms of specificity, characteristics
nutritional, safety, environmentally friendly production methods, labeling and traceability systems;
disseminate scientific and technical knowledge on quality products;
promote supply chain integration while developing the integration of agricultural activities with tourism ones.
Eligible companies
Companies producing Sicilian wines with Denomination of Origin (DOP and IGP), distillates from the pomace of Sicilian grapes, wine-based liqueurs and/or with added alcohol originating from Sicilian wines and in line with the objectives and promotion strategies and communication of the rural development policies of the European Union and with the Rural Development Program - Sicily Region 2007-2013.
The company must have its production unit in Sicily.

Public consultation on the IRVO 2026-2028 PTPCT update
Public consultation for the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2026/2028. In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2026/2028, all interested parties – particularly citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, and other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests – are invited to submit comments and/or proposals to the Head of Corruption Prevention and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated during the drafting of the document.
