Study trip 10-15 July 2013
FRANCE (ALSACE) – GERMANY (RHINE) – SWITZERLAND (CANTON TICINO)
The Regional Institute of Wines and Oils of Sicily, as part of the activities aimed at training the human capital of those employed in the wine sector, is organizing a study trip to France, Germany and Switzerland in the wine-growing areas in the period from 10 to 15 July. of great image and quality (Alsace – Reno – Canton Ticino). The trip has an educational and training purpose and therefore includes guided visits to public bodies and wine-growing facilities of great technical, historical, cultural and scientific importance.
In particular, meetings are planned with officials and technicians of bodies in the wine sector, such as the Maison des Vin d'Alsace, an excellent observatory of Alsatian oenology, visits to large cooperative structures and small producers, guided tastings of prestigious Alsatian white wines, German and Swiss (Riesling, Pinot gris, Gewurtraminer, etc.), visits to organic and biodynamic wine producers and also educational visits to museums and wine routes and other important wineries in Alsace, the Rhine and the Canton of Ticino.
France and Germany, countries with a great wine-growing tradition, producers of prestigious white wines, points of reference for professionals in this type of wine, are the objective of the trip: where on the one hand you want to get to know the most famous wine-growing areas in the world , with their landscapes, wine routes, wine tourism aspects and on the other hand we want to delve deeper into the quality of their white wines, research, experiments and their transformation processes from grapes to wine.
Technicians, operators and wine entrepreneurs will be able to participate in the trip at the discretion of the individual Sicilian companies that are currently affiliated with the IRVO, who will be able to indicate a maximum of two names, one of which in a reserve position, which will be accepted based on the number of memberships that will arrive.
Please note that there is a preferential per capita participation fee of approximately €600.00 in a double room excluding drinks with meals and personal extras, which Registrations will be limited and will be accepted in chronological order, therefore interested companies must send an expression of interest, complete with the names of the trip participants to the following e-mail address [email protected]

Public Consultation Update PTPCT IRVO 2025-2027
Public consultation for the purpose of updating the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2025/2027 In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2025/2027, all those who are interested are invited - in particular citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests - to send observations and/or proposals to the Person in Charge of the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated when drafting the document.
