Chinese sommeliers in Sicily

A delegation from Hong Kong visiting Sicily. From 6 to 9 October, a group of fifteen Chinese delegates, led by president Nelson Chow, will get to know the territories, vines and products of the Wine Island. Last stop of an Italian Tour which also involved the regions of Veneto, Piedmont, Tuscany and Lazio.

A tour organized and coordinated by the Hong Kong Sommelier Association and supported by ICE, the Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies, Hong Kong Office. The mission is part of a broader action to support Italian wine in Hong Kong and Macau.

The delegation is in fact made up of sommeliers and room staff from the main hotels in Hong Kong, as well as Club House and Disneyland Hong Kong.

The group will have the opportunity to visit Sicilian wineries and its territories. On the first day they will be hosted at the IRVOS headquarters in Palermo. Here there will be a brief introduction to the Sicilian territories and vines and followed by a tasting, by the oenologist Gianni Giardina, of some types of native Sicilian wines.

ICE's activities will continue with the creation of a tasting seminar on Italian wines and Chinese specialties during the "Wine and Dine Festival" which will take place from 31 October to 3 November in Hong Kong, followed by two wine tastings dedicated to Italy during the most important trade fair in the wine sector "HKIWSF 2013" (from 7 to 9 November). The Wine Challenge was also organised, in collaboration with the Wine Luxe magazine, which will see the participating Italian companies protagonists of a special in the November 2013 issue of WineLuxe.

Public consultation for the purpose of updating the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2025/2027 In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2025/2027, all those who are interested are invited - in particular citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests - to send observations and/or proposals to the Person in Charge of the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated when drafting the document.
