International Exhibition of Quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil

International Exhibition of Quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil

sol
The Regional Institute of Wines and Oils of Sicily intends to promote the participation of companies according to the following guiding principles:

Enhance the territorial identity and increase the image and qualitative perception of the Extra Virgin Olive Oils of Sicily and the territories of origin by enhancing their identity and personality characteristics;
Increase commercial opportunities through greater opportunities to meet national and international operators;

Facilitate business aggregation opportunities;

Eligible companies
Companies producing extra virgin olive oils with a DOP Designation of Origin or with a quality system from organic farming or with supply chain traceability which demonstrates that the oil can be traced back to olive groves resident in Sicily.

The products must be only and exclusively quality products.
As for wines, the IRVOS program includes the qualitative evaluation of the oils of all the companies participating in the promotional initiatives organized with the dual objective of safeguarding the image of Made in Sicily; in fact the presence of poor quality products is a damage not only for the company that produced them, but for the image of Sicily as a high prestige brand that evokes territories of extraordinary vocation, of long historicity and a strong relationship between productions , culture, traditions and landscape.
