SIVE (Italian Society of Viticulture and Enology) is a non-profit association which has been joined over the years by around 500 technicians and 50 companies from all over Italy. Since 1995 it has been active in the field of training and technical updating and has to its credit the organization of over 100 conferences, seminars, technical meetings and study trips in Italy and abroad.

Since 2005, SIVE has set itself the objective of "Supporting greater collaboration between production companies and the world of oenological and viticultural research", helping the world of production in formulating demand and the world of research in defining its supply of useful knowledge for production.

Daniele-Oliva-The international scientific committee has therefore chosen the 15 best works, now the next appointment will be at the Enoforum which will be held in Vicenza from 16 to 18 May. It is here that there will be a second selection by the scientific committee. The SIVE Scientific Committee that will evaluate the works is composed in such a way as to represent the entire universe of Italian and foreign wine research centers in the broadest and most complete way possible. It is chaired by prof. Emilio Celotti, president of SIVE.

The announcement of the finalists and winners will take place by July 30th.
