OCM wine, the rankings

ocm_The rankings of the OCM wine tender for the international promotion of Sicilian wines have been published.

The resources allocated amount to 6 and a half million euros and are intended to promote and increase the competitiveness of Sicilian wines outside the EU.

“Through international promotion we aim to consolidate the success of Sicilian wine which continues to record important signs of growth. These resources will allow our producers to promote marketing campaigns aimed at strengthening the export of Sicilian wine to conquer new market spaces – states the regional councilor for Agriculture Antonello Cracolici – There is a Sicily of excellence and quality which is able to shake off the rhetoric of complaint and the negative stereotypes of the past. Our wines must be part of a promotion strategy shared by all players in the field to maximize the impact of the Sicilia brand in the world."

In the "Promotion of wine on the markets of third countries - 2016/2017 Campaign" section of the institutional website of the Sicilian Region it is possible to consult the list of admitted applications and excluded companies.
