Cous Cous Fest, the IRVO tastings
It will also be the protagonist wine this year at the Cous Cous Fest, the 19th edition of the San Vito Lo Capo event which every year attracts a large audience and above all many professionals from all over the world.
In fact, there will be two wine tastings with IRVO scheduled within the rich schedule. The first on Saturday 17 September, the other on Sunday 25, both at 6.30 pm and both at the PalaBia space.
Two meetings dedicated to native Sicilian vines which will see the collaboration of IRVO with the DOC Sicilia Consortium for the first tasting and with the Enoteca Strada del Vino di Marsala for the second. But not only that, this year there will also be an area dedicated to the world of wine among the stands set up and here too the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil will have the task of collaborating in the dissemination of the latest "news and trends". Among these, that of promoting local and regional public wine shops: it is through them that Sicilian wine and wine tourism hospitality can be promoted within the production territories. “An innovative formula – explains Dario Di Bernardi of the IRVO Wine Tourism Operational Unit and who is following the organization – which aims at the creation of a network of public wine shops with the main aim of making tourists and visitors increasingly aware of passionate about the stories and excellences of the Sicilian wine-territory system".
