Sicilian PGI oil to defend olive growing and the territory
Caltanissetta 3 March 2016 – 10.00 am. Extra virgin olive oil is one of the sectors that in Sicily has not yet expressed its potential in terms of employment and income. Many companies have begun a path of product valorisation which must be supported by policies that leverage the distinctiveness of our extra virgin olive oil, also in light of recent choices in terms of international trade.
On this topic, the Municipality of Caltanissetta has organized a meeting on March 3rd at 10.00 am at the Caltanissetta auditorium. Experts and political leaders who closely follow the agricultural production world will be present.
