The Feudo Principi di Butera belonged to the noble Branciforti family, whose greatest exponent Ambrogio was the first Sicilian to be appointed Prince in 1543 with the title of "Prince of Butera". The estate, now owned by the Zonin family, extends over 320 hectares of which 180 are vineyards, in a natural landscape of extraordinary beauty.
The climate of the Sicilian coast, quintessentially Mediterranean, the warm light of the island and the exclusive terroir are the elements that allow us to obtain grapes of exceptional quality which give rise to world-class wines: from Nero d'Avola to Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, the refined whites Insolia and Chardonnay, up to the super award-winning Deliella.
Symposio is Bordeaux-inspired, a perfect fusion of Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot and a true expression of the deepest Sicilian soul. The Feudo hosts thousands of passionate wine tourists every year and the cellars are open to the public for guided tours and tastings.

The tour
The guided tour includes the winemaking area and the underground aging cellar. There is also the possibility of organizing walks among the vineyards and towards the ancient Baglio del Feudo.
The visits and tastings take place from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 17.00 and can have a variable duration, from 45 minutes to 2 hours.
On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, we kindly ask for reservations and a group of at least 20 people. The company is closed during the Christmas period and in the week of August.

The tastings
The tour of the cellar will be completed with the tasting of our wines.
The individual visit includes a free tasting of 3 wines.
For groups (min. 8 pax from Monday to Friday - min. 20 pax on weekends) we offer various opportunities which also include possible gastronomic combinations with snacks or typical Sicilian dishes:
