Wine tourism
The wines, oils and typical products, the reception facilities, the possibility for the supply system to interpret the new consumer needs of the crisis and post-crisis periods, the quality of the services offered, the new forms of aggregation and communication, innovative loyalty methods. These are the focal points around which the "wine tourism" sector revolves, which today represents a significantly developing portion of the tourism market. The implementation of interventions aimed at the food and wine and cultural valorisation of the Sicilian territories is envisaged, encouraging direct sales, wine tourism and the formation of a Wine in Moderation culture according to the strategies formulated by the European Union and the promotion of the Mediterranean Diet as Intangible Heritage of Humanity recognized by UNESCO;
