Two senators donate sum for IRVO projects
A donation to support the sustainability projects of the Regional Institute of Wines and Oils of Sicily. Senators Fabrizio Bocchino and Francesco Campanella bestowed it.
The sum, which amounts to one thousand euros, will be directed to finance those projects of the organization concerning sustainable development on issues relating to the creation of new synthetic fuels for agriculture.
The director of IRVO, Lucio Monte, was pleased and commented: “I thank senators Bocchino and Campanella for the attention paid to our Institute. We will take action to reward those individuals capable of making an effective contribution of ideas in the field of sustainability issues".
A donation "which we hope - adds the body's ad acta commissioner, Giovanni Benedetto Belnome - can be a driving force to promote projects with European co-financing".
It will obviously be the institution's responsibility to shortly announce the destination of the sum.
