Di Giacomo: “Congratulations to Count Tasca”
The nomination of Count Lucio Tasca d'Almerita as the new president of the Committee of the Great Crus of Italy represents great satisfaction and honor for Sicily. The association that brings together the most prestigious companies in the country, founded in 2005 with the aim of promoting the best terroirs in Italy, oenological excellence and landscape protection.
The extraordinary commissioner of IRVO, Nino Di Giacomo, congratulated him on the new position: "For the Sicily of quality wine - writes the commissioner in a letter sent to the count - the appointment of Count Tasca represents a worthy recognition of the passion and work which in recent years has been dedicated to the island's viticulture, a leading sector of the Sicilian economy".
After all, the Tasca family "has always believed in the wine-terroir combination, thus favoring the success of our Sicilian wines on international markets", continues Di Giacomo. The general director of the institution, Lucio Monte, and all the staff of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil also join in the greetings.

Public Consultation Update PTPCT IRVO 2025-2027
Public consultation for the purpose of updating the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (PTPCT) 2025/2027 In order to allow maximum involvement in the preparation of the update of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency of the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil for the three-year period 2025/2027, all those who are interested are invited - in particular citizens, companies, consumer associations, representative trade unions, other entities operating in the territory representing particular interests - to send observations and/or proposals to the Person in Charge of the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency (RPCT), which will be evaluated when drafting the document.
