Sicily of Wine Doubles at Wine Paris 2025: 32 Wineries Protagonists of the Italian Pavilion

Large participation in the Wine Paris: 32 Sicilian companies have decided to join the 6th edition of one of the most important wine fairs on the international scene, organized by Vinexposium, which brings together wine and spirits producers and which attracts, every year, distributors, importers, traders in the sector, hotel and restaurant owners, and sommeliers from all over the world. The event will be from 10 to 12 February 2025 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles: over 4 thousand exhibitors from more than 50 countries and over 40 thousand visitors are expected. Italy will occupy the 40% of additional space and, for the first time, will be hosted in an entire pavilion, number 6, within which there will also be a space reserved for Sicilian wineries. For this 2025 edition, the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil is doubling the presence of companies that were selected through a call published in October of this year.

In the 2024 edition, 15 had participated. “We are proud of this positive response from Sicilian companies. – comments the IRVO commissioner, Giusi Mistretta – Wine Paris represents a fundamental hub where all the professionals of the wine and spirits industry gather every year to meet the producers and the big names in the sector, to taste, discover, share know-how and skills and anticipate the next trends. It is a great opportunity for the Sicilian wine to be present and as an Institute we are committed to ensuring that our excellence is known and appreciated more and more throughout the world”.

The Wine Paris 2025 program will be, like every year, full of conferences, workshops, masterclasses. In this context, the IRVO will organize a masterclass on February 11th, from 6 to 7 pm, dedicated to the presentation of Sicilian wineries. The wineries participating in Wine Paris will be hosted in the dedicated space of 244 square meters inside the Italian pavilion.
