Vasari represents over 400 years of Italian and Sicilian art, culture and history. Agriculture and viticulture are the tradition of the Vasari family. We produce superior quality Controlled Designation of Origin wines such as the ancient Mamertino, classified by Pliny the Younger in fifth place among the 195 "Roman Empire" wines he tasted and extra virgin olive oil from organic farming. 4 hour itinerary: Guided tour of the historic village of Santa Lucia del Mela with the Arab-Norman Castle, now the Sanctuary of Maria SS. della Neve (sculpture by Gagini), the Cathedral Basilica with the marble portal by Gabriele Battista (1485) and the Diocesan Museum of the Nullius Prelature, the Saracen Lavacro and the numerous churches (SS. Annunziata, Sacro Cuore, S. Nicola, the Capuchins and the Church of S. Maria where there is a painting by Caravaggio) all crossing the characteristic alleys from which you can enjoy the panorama of the Aeolian Islands and the promontory of Capo Milazzo immersed in the blue of the sea. Stop in the center of the town at the "Nicotina" pastry shop where it is possible to taste and buy the typical artisanal nougats and martorana fruit. Arrival at the ancient cellar (dating back to 1700) of the Vasari Agricultural Company, a Certified Organic Company, located in the Casale district of Santa Lucia del Mela. Visit to the modern Vasari winery to view the production process. Visit to the old museum cellar from the 1700s and guided tasting of the DOC Mamertino Bianco, Rosso, Nero d'Avola wines paired with typical products. Antonio Da Padova), followed by a walk along the Garibaldi seafront where it is possible to go shopping, visit the churches of the Duomo, of the Carmine, the historic Palazzo della municipal library, museum, etc.) Return. Visit to the ancient cellar/museum (dating back to 1700) and guided tasting of the DOC Mamertino wines (the favorite wines of the Emperor Julius Caesar) in the White, Red, Nero d'Avola types paired with typical local products (typical Majorcan cheese, whose production origins date back to 1600 - Nebrodi black pig cured meats, etc.).
Relaxing afternoon in the SPA at the wellness center (10 minutes' drive from the farmhouse), with Hammam treatment (sauna, Turkish bath, hydromassage tub, emotional showers), anti-stress body massage.

On the following day there is the possibility of visiting Milazzo (15 minutes by car from the farmhouse) and the historic village with the Arab-Swabian-Norman castle, by extension the largest in Europe, a highlight visit to Capo Milazzo (SCI area) or, alternatively, Tindari and the Laghetti di Marinello nature reserve (about 35 minutes away by car from the farmhouse).

Departure for Santa Lucia del Mela (a rural hilltop village about 15 minutes away by car from Milazzo), guided tour of the historic village with the Arab-Norman castle now the Sanctuary of Maria SS. della Neve, the Cathedral Basilica and the Diocesan Museum of the Nullius Prelature, crossing the characteristic alleys from which you can enjoy the panorama of the Aeolian Islands and the Promontory of Capo Milazzo immersed in the blue of the sea. Stop in the center of the town at the typical pastry shops where it is possible to taste and buy the typical artisanal nougats and martorana fruit.

In the afternoon, transfer by coach to Milazzo, guided tour of Capo Milazzo, the Arab-Swabian Norman Castle and the historic village of Milazzo. 2nd DAY. MALVASIA DELLE LIPARI DOC ROUTE (MILAZZO – SALINA)
Breakfast. Transfer from the hotel to the port of Milazzo, hydrofoil boarding terminal for Salina. Arrival in Salina. Transfer by minibus to the Hotel (4 stars) associated with the Wine Route of the Province of Messina. Lunch. Afternoon Departure by minibus for the guided tour of the Belvedere point and visit to the Malvasia delle Lipari DOC cellars. Visit Pollara from above. Visit to Malfa and the cellars with tastings of Malvasia delle Lipari DOC. Dinner at the hotel restaurant. Free evening.
3rd DAY – Salina- Milazzo –Taormina
Breakfast. Departure by hydrofoil from the port of Salina to Milazzo. Arrival in Milazzo and transfer by bus to Taormina. Free visit to the historic center of Taormina, packed breakfast. Transfer from Taormina to Catania airport. Departure.
