AGREEMENT WITH AGROQUALITA' SPA FOR INSPECTION VISITS IN THE FIELD OF WINE AND OLIVE GROWERS
We inform you that, as required by article 64 paragraph 14 of Law 238/2016, an agreement was stipulated between IRVO and another control structure, Agroqualità SpA, on 20 June 2019 and approved with DDG no. 157 of 06/24/2019.
The IRVO has delegated to Agroqualità SpA the carrying out of the annual field inspections foreseen by the control plans of the PDO/PGI of Sicilian wines as well as the PDO Valdemone and PGI Sicilia with regard to the extra virgin olive oils subjected to our control.
Naturally, the responsibility for the controls remains ours and, therefore, the activity of Agroqualità SpA will be constantly supervised and monitored by the IRVO.
