Prowein 2018 Düsseldorf 18/20 March
The Prowein fair in Düsseldorf, which takes place annually in March, today represents the largest exhibition reality in the panorama of trade fair activities at a global level. PHOTO
The Wine and Oil Institute of the Sicilian Region has been participating in the event for more than twenty years now and has always represented a significant portion of regional production, both in quantity and quality.
The companies attending the fair will exhibit 317 labels which well represent almost the entire Sicilian wine universe both from the point of view of native (nero avola, nerello mascalese, perricone, Grosso Nero, Insolia, Catarratto, Grillo etc.) and non-native viticulture. (Cabernet sauvignon, Chardonnay, Shiraz etc.) and which, with their products, also represent the entire varied range of oenological origins. From aperitif products to meal products, to desserts, from so-called meditation products to bubbles, from the most varied liqueurs to spirits such as monovarietal grappas.
To these companies, upon payment of a participation fee, which for the current year is equal to 5,500 euros plus VAT, the institute guarantees all the technical services needed to allow them an excellent exhibition module (exhibition area, exhibition structures, technical services such as electricity, water, etc., multilingual hostess service, glass service and related cleaning, material transport service from Palermo to the exhibition venue, wine refrigeration, goods storage, etc.).
The institute also took care of registering the companies participating in the event in the catalogue
Ultimately, in exchange for the participation fee, the Institute guarantees Sicilian production structures an effective "Turnkey" participation.
The 2018 edition, on an area of 305 gross square metres, sees 37 Sicilian companies represented, namely:
