Irvos brings Sicilian wines to Brazil

From 26 to 29 June 2012 events to promote Sicilian wines will take place in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, in collaboration with Michele Shah Srl. In order to allow this Institute to plan all the actions consequential to its participation, in relation to the number of companies interested in the In the event, we hereby invite this esteemed Company to communicate, by means of the attached form, its desire to participate.

 

Taking into account the time necessary for the realization of this event, please send your request for participation to this Institute no later than deadline of 16 April 2012. (by email [email protected] via fax 091 347870). The time limit established above is mandatory. In order to avoid possible misunderstandings, requests for participation sent via fax must also be announced by communication via e-mail to the address indicated above.

Rules and conditions of participation

The days will be organized as follows:

June 27th
10:00 – 12:00 - Visit to sales points and specialized shops
(Scheduled meetings with managers of distribution chains and important supermarket stores)
Characteristic and informal lunch at the general market. 5.00 pm - 6.00 pm - Seminar on the current Brazilian market conducted by Giovanni Bacigalupo 7.00 pm - Seminar on Sicilian wines and which will be held at the Brazilian Sommelier Association with guided tasting of 8-10 Sicilian wines presented by the director Arthur Azevedo in presence of 75 sommelier students. 8.30pm – Free dinner (possible to book for everyone to go to a local restaurant where the focus is the great quality of Brazilian meat)
June 28th

Hotel UNIQUE São Paulo São Paulo (SP) http://www.unique.com.br 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm - Workshop (b2b) with customized tables specially set up to present, taste and establish any commercial agreements with restaurateurs, importers, distributors, large-scale retail purchasing managers, etc. 4.00 pm – 5.30 pm – Seminar with guided tasting Information conference followed by presentation and formal tasting of 8/10 Sicilian wines to approximately 30/40 people, including importers, opinion leaders, journalists and restaurateurs. 5.00pm - 7.30pm - Extended tasting in the same chosen venue with representatives of Italian wine producing companies. The seminar participants and a selected audience made up of importers, sommeliers, distributors, opinion formers, restaurateurs will also be invited. , GDO, etc.

The company participation fee was set by the Institute a €3,300.00 and includes the following services:
Event organization in Sao Paulo
Shipping wines
Advertising in major newspapers
Flight ticket Hotels

This fee must be paid into the Institute's current account held at Credito Siciliano IBAN IT86 C 030 19046 1200 00089 06046, indicating the reason “Code. 336 Brazil” and must be paid at the same time as the request for participation. Applications for admission without even one of the three required documents (Application form, stamped and signed participation regulation, document proving payment of the participation fee) will not be taken into consideration. The institute reserves the right not to carry out the event in case of little interest on the part of Sicilian wine companies. Companies participating in another OCM project in Brazil cannot participate. In the event that requests for participation exceed the capacity of reception in the area dedicated to Sicily, requests for participation will be accepted in chronological order of arrival.
